I don't know much about C&C nor the LA area, but I think the Irvine C&C is probably the most well-known C&C there is. It's held right by Mazda's North American HQ.

If you want to see absolutely everything you should get there by 6:30 or maybe even 6. Cars start leaving around 7, with most leaving around 8. You should also check out what's parked in the parking garage. Lots of times you'll see cars that were better than the ones on display!
